A MapsData lead list has one row per business, with up to 17 columns: who the business is, how to reach it, where it is, and how it is doing on Google Maps. This page lists every column, what it contains, and how teams use it. The sample row at the bottom is made up, so you can see the shape of a file before you run a search.
| Column | What it contains |
|---|---|
query | The Google Maps business category you searched, for example Dentist. Useful when you merge several searches into one file. |
name | The business name as it appears on its Google Maps listing. |
phone | The phone number on the listing. |
email | An email address the business publishes on its own website. Blank when the business publishes none. A business with several addresses gets one row per address, up to the cap you set. |
website | The website linked from the listing. |
domain | The website's domain on its own, handy for de-duplicating against your CRM. |
address | The full street address from the listing. |
city | The city the business is in. |
state | The state, province, territory or region you searched (for example Texas, Ontario, Scotland or New South Wales). |
zip_code | The zip or postal code area the business was found in. Present on searches by zip code or city. |
rating | The average Google rating, from 1 to 5. |
review_count | How many Google reviews the business has. |
categories | Every category on the listing, not just the one you searched. |
business_status | Open, Temporarily closed or Permanently closed. |
claimed | Yes when the owner has claimed the listing, otherwise No. |
working_hours | Opening hours as one line, for example Mon: 9 AM-5 PM; Tue: 9 AM-5 PM. |
google_maps_url | A link to the business on Google Maps. |
Every file is a CSV. On an active paid plan you can also create a Google Sheet in your own Drive instead of downloading.
rating and
review_count split a market cleanly: a pitch for review
management lands differently with a 3.2-star business than with a market
leader.claimed is Yes) usually means someone is actively
managing the business's online presence.business_status is not Open before you send.working_hours tells a
calling team when someone will pick up.domain or
phone against your CRM so existing customers do not get a cold
email. This row is invented for illustration. It is not a real business.
