Data Removal

Last updated: October 22, 2026

MapsData compiles lead lists of businesses from public Google Maps listings and the contact details businesses publish on their own websites. If your business, or an email address or name that identifies you, appears in our data, you can ask us to remove it, correct it, or tell you what we hold.

What we hold

  • Business name, category, address, phone, website, opening hours, rating and review count, and the link to the Google Maps listing.
  • Email addresses the business publishes on its own website.
  • When a customer asks for them, the business's Google reviews (rating, date, text, the business's reply and a link). We do not include reviewers' names.

Full details, including why we hold this information and who receives it, are in the Privacy Policy.

What happens when you ask for removal

  • We delete the business or address from our data and add it to a suppression list, so it stays out of lists we compile in future.
  • We cannot recall copies that customers downloaded before your request. If you receive a message from one of them, you can ask that sender to stop directly.
