About MapsData

MapsData (mapsdata.ai) builds lead lists from Google Maps. Pick a business type and a place, and MapsData returns the matching businesses with their email, phone, website, address and rating, ready for cold email or any other outreach. It is built and run by the MapsData team at Hiive Arts, a company registered in Canada.

What MapsData is

• A self-serve web app for building lists of local businesses by category and place, in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia.
• A REST API and an MCP server for teams who want the same lists inside their own software or AI agents, included on every paid plan.
• Priced on results: you only pay for leads that have an email. See pricing.

What MapsData is not

• Not a pre-built database. Lists are built on demand for each search, from what businesses publish publicly.
• Not affiliated with Google. MapsData is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google. Google and Google Maps are trademarks of Google LLC.
• Not a source of private data. We only collect what a business has made public, such as its listing and the contact details on its own website.

History

The product launched as Hiive Scraper at maps.hiivearts.com and was renamed MapsData when it moved to mapsdata.ai in July 2026. Accounts, lists and billing carried over unchanged.

How we handle data

Business data comes from public sources, and any business can ask to be removed: we delete its details and add it to a suppression list so it stays out of future lists.
